Vitrectomy Solutions offers customer service that is over and above the competition. Our office staffs medical professionals who assist both patients and physician offices in pre-service third party advocacy, insurance claim assistance, and appeals procedures for facedown recovery equipment.
Vitrectomy Solutions' reimbursement specialists work with various health plans to obtain timely pre-authorization of benefits. Due to variances in health care coverage policies a detailed physician letter of medical necessity may be required to ensure timely prior authorization for facedown support equipment.
*All Durable Medical Equipment rental services are charged to the patient and are due at the time of services, unless other arrangements have been made. You are responsible for all fees, regardless of insurance coverage. Pre-authorization and notification confirmation of benefits is subject to member eligibility on the date of rental, and any other contractual provision of the plan and may or may not reflect the actual amount of payment when the invoice is presented to your insurance provider.
